An old “cortijo” (rural cottage farmhouse), that combines the comfort of a modern establishment and the spirit of a rural atmosphere to the point of perfection. On the western slope of the Alcaucín valley, it enjoys prodigious views over El Alcázar National Park and the Sierra Tejeda.

The hotel boasts grounds spanning 3,300 m, within which you will find a private swimming pool, gardens, and an allotment that cultivates products for consumption in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is a pretty lounge room style bistro where homemade, regional cuisine is served. Alongside the swimming pool and gardens, the restaurant was restored from the 18th century original; and also affords views of Zalia castle. Two lounges are also available for your use: one with reading room, TV and panoramic terrace, and the other with a library and games room. All rooms are exterior and enjoy fantastic views.

The opportunities to partake in leisure or sporting activities are numerous. For golf lovers, there are two courses nearby (Baviera and Añoreta). The Pantano de Viñuela is 3 km away if you want to take a swim, there are hill-walking opportunities and a number of other activities that you can contract in tourist agencies for outdoor activities in the Axarquía.
